Data deletion
You can have the personal data CleanHQ holds about you deleted. This page explains who can ask, how to ask, and exactly what happens next.
Who can ask
Anyone whose data we hold: someone who used the contact form on cleanhq.se, or someone who chatted with a booking assistant we run on a business's website or messaging channels.
A business we work with can also ask on behalf of its own customers.
How to ask
Email info@cleanhq.se and say you want your data deleted.
Help us find it: tell us roughly when and where the conversation or enquiry happened, and the name, email address, or phone number you used.
That is all. No form, no account, no proof of identity beyond what we need to be sure it is you.
What happens next
We reply within 24 hours to confirm we received your request.
If we need to be sure the request really comes from you, we ask a confirming question, usually by replying to the address or number the data is tied to.
We delete the data from our systems and send you a short confirmation when it is done.
The whole process is completed within 30 days. In practice it is usually much faster.
What gets deleted
Chat conversations with the assistant.
Booking records held on our side.
Contact details captured in chat or through the contact form.
What does not get deleted
Email correspondence with us is kept for up to 24 months, because it often documents what was agreed.
Records the law requires us to keep, such as bookkeeping records, are kept for as long as the law says, and no longer.
Good to know
Most of this data deletes itself anyway. Chat conversations, booking records, and contact-form enquiries are removed after 30 days as a matter of routine, whether anyone asks or not.
If you are not satisfied
Reply to our email and say so, and a person will look at it again.
You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), which supervises how personal data is handled in Sweden.
